Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and talented individual to join our Royal Academy of Improvement, providing leadership and enablement to the design, development and delivery of an ambitious improvement programme.
The post holder will engage with key stakeholders, motivating and supporting our people to collaboratively develop and implement models of care and clinical pathways that maximise health outcomes and value. The post holder will maintain rigorous programme governance and documentation management throughout the lifecycle of each assigned programme.
The post holder will have the ability to manage and coordinate multiple deliverables and interdependencies concurrently within an environment of rapid change. They will communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of expertise and responsibility.
Main duties of the job
This is a key leadership role working with senior colleagues and clinicians to design, implement and assure delivery of an improvement programme that supports delivery of strategic outcomes for both the trust and Joined Up Care Derbyshire ICS.
As a member of the Royal Academy of Improvement, the post holder will champion improvement, engaging with and motivating colleagues to generate and implement ideas to nurture an improvement culture. The post holder will teach and coach colleagues using Quality, Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR) improvement methodology, tools and techniques. They will also provide regular support to the network of Royal Academy of Improvement Ambassadors in fostering and delivering improvement action within their respective divisions and departments.
