Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Capital Project Team for the role of Senior Project Manager within the Hard FM and Safety Management Department,the position is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00 16:00 (flexible to meet service and personal requirements).
The postholder will provide a broad spectrum of Building Surveying and Project Management services, will line manage project support resource and take responsibility for managing key projects with varying complexity and project values, to ensure successful efficient delivery of all allocated property and development capital schemes.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with internal and externally stakeholders andwith a variety of Consultants to develop and deliver schemes from inception to completion supporting a high standard of patient care, reflecting the DSFS values. You will be RICS qualified and provide a professional customer focused service striving to deliver high quality capital projects.
Main duties of the job
To act as Senior Project Manager (Building Surveyor (RICS) with 5 years post qualification experience) for complex nominated programmes of work or nominated Major projects.
Estates property professional for all property related items of work, including leading on estates input to Heads of Terms, Leases, Licences and associated surveys providing service excellence back to the commercial team. Responsible for leading and updating Survey related reports, including but not limited to; Six facet condition, measured, topographical, dilapidation, pre construction and equality act to ensure site compliance.
Extensive knowledge of various forms of contract JCT/NEC, including associated administration.
Knowledge of Government construction strategy, use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Computer Aided Design (CAD).
Fully conversant with Health Service Building and Engineering guidance Health Technical Memorandum's (HTM) and Health Building Notes (HBN).
