We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Administration Assistant to join our team within the NHS. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills who is passionate about supporting Healthcare services and making a positive difference to Patient care. As a Band 3 Administration Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department by providing efficient and effective administrative support. We are looking for someone who has previous administrative experience (preferably within a healthcare setting). Possesses excellent organisational and time management skills and has strong communication skills - both written and verbal. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Can work independently as well as part of a team and demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy. You will also need a positive, flexible, and proactive approach
Main duties of the job
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the team
Manage and maintain accurate records and databases
Handle telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner
Schedule appointments and manage diaries
Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence
Support data entry and ensure information is recorded accurately
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders
Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection policies
