Job summary
It is an exciting time to join The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. We have recently launched our new digital strategy and are working towards Service Desk Institute Certification.
We are looking for an energised, committed, and innovative team member to join our Health Informatics IT Service Desk team.
Main duties of the job
Working as part of a busy Health Informatics IT Service Desk team, you will provide a single point of contact for the logging, handling, resolution and management of all incidents and request fulfilments across the Trust and other organisations we support through Service Level Agreements.
You will work within agreed priorities and timescales, accurately triaging incidents incoming via telephony, email or our service management toolset to determine local issues and those which affect patient care.
You will also need to demonstrate excellent customer facing and technical skills and should hold a formal IT qualification together with relevant experience.
In return for your hard work we will make sure we support you as best as possible. One example would be a years paid membership to join BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
