Job summary
The post holder will work within the Pelvic Health Team to provide clinical assessment, treatment and management of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological patients and work alongside the wider MDT.Referrals are from Consultants, GPs, Midwives, Nurse Specialists and we are looking to open to self-referral in the future.The successful applicant must be able to work autonomously and manage their time efficiently within an out-patient setting. In addition they will assist with our postnatal ward service, alongside the other members of the Pelvic Health Team.Applicants must have relevant experience working within Pelvic Health settings.We are looking for an applicant with:
- Recent experience working in Pelvic Health
- Knowledge of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological conditions
- Evidence of continuing professional development in Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy practice including post graduate education / study to support the specialist nature of the role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience of clinical supervision of Physiotherapy team members and students
- Awareness of current initiatives in the NHS
- Evidence/ability to work effectively and efficiently as a team member
- Experience with electronic patient record systems and information technology

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work within the Pelvic Health Team to provide clinical assessment, treatment and management of Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological patients and work alongside the wider MDT.The post will include 1:1 assessments of patients referred into the Pelvic Health, Service, Groups (Pelvic Girdle pain and Post natal group) and Wharncliffe Ward Cover (Labour and Delivery ward)
