We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Capital Projects Support Officer to join our Capital Projects Department for 37.5 hours per week
You will be part of a small but successful team providing vital & critical capital works across all Trust sites. You should be organised, professional and able to work under pressure and always demonstrate the Trusts values. You must have a valid drivers licence and own vehicle. The Capital Planning Project Support Manager will support the Deputy Head of Capital Projects to deliver a portfolio of projects through the whole project lifecycle, from business case development, design and construction, through to post project evaluation and reporting.
Main duties of the job
The role of the Capital Project Support Officer is to enable the smooth running of projects by supporting the Deputy Head of Capital Projects and the Director of Estates and Facilities with all operational and project governance aspects including design meetings, construction meetings, operational matters meetings, formal board escalations and clinical sign off of processes by stakeholders such as E&F Ops, IPC, Executive Teams, Clinical Consultants including formal and contractually binding secretariat duties, minute taking, project board support and the co-ordination of business management actions and activities on their behalf. The role will provide support to the Deputy Head of Capital Projects to ensure that good practice and project operating procedures are followed and that key project information is produced, maintained, and retained in an efficient and timely manner. It is a role within which an individual can develop project management skills and experience.
