Main duties of the job
Support the provision of high quality and timely patient care through the management of elective resources. Validate and produce data reports detailing an accurate 18 week position for the Division. Liaise with Service Support Manager to ensure transparency of workload position thus contributing to continuity of service Assist the Service Support Manager in ensuring patient pathways are compliant with the RTT targets, investigating and taking appropriate action where pathways are incomplete. Develop, implement and maintain new and updated Standard Operating Procedures and Key Performance Indicators. Ensure that the Standard Operating Procedures are followed. Key Result Areas and Responsibilities: Ensure strict confidentiality at all times. Comply with requirements of Data Protection Act, Access to Health Records Act and legislation issued in relation to confidential data. Assist in the validation of patient pathways to meet Trust and National RTT guidelines, investigating and resolving any issues as they arise. Prioritise workload to meet service demands, seeking advice where appropriate. Advise the Service Support Manager of operational trends, difficulties, incidents or complaints in the area of work. Ensure compliance with tight submission deadlines for data validation submissions
