About the Role: As Fundraising & Engagement Coordinator, you'll lead community engagement, build relationships, and inspire support. Youll plan creative campaigns, partner with schools and businesses, organise events, and turn generous ideas into real impact. This is a 30-hour per week role, fixed term for 18 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Main duties of the job
As Fundraising & Engagement Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a variety of fundraising activities, events, and campaigns that inspire support across the community. You'll take a creative approach to generating income, working closely with local individuals, schools, and community groups to turn their enthusiasm into impactful fundraising. A key part of the role will be building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, identifying opportunities for sponsorships and other mutually beneficial collaborations. Youll act as a visible and enthusiastic ambassador for the charity, representing us at events, meetings, and internally with Trust staff. Your role will include contributing to our communications from social media content and newsletters to campaign materials and impact stories helping to bring the difference donations make to life. Supporter care is at the heart of this role, and youll provide excellent stewardship to donors, fundraisers, and volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and supported throughout their journey with us. Youll also be responsible for keeping accurate records of engagement and income, and will support the wider team in monitoring performance, evaluating success, and shaping future plans. Collaboration is essential, and youll work alongside colleagues across the Trust, as well as volunteers and key stakeholders, to help deliver our strategic goals and grow support for the charity.
