Job summary

We are looking for a Apprentice Administrator to join our friendly team here at The Rotherham Foundation Trust.

This role is 5 days per week, Monday - Friday.

Main duties of the job

  • Use of accurate, efficient and quality booking service for TRFT consultants and specialities with regard to the processing of appointments in accordance with Trust and Government targets and current practices andprocedures.
  • Booking appointments on to the patient administration system (SystemOne/Meditech) with specific attention to the data items required for commissioning purposes and data quality.
  • Respond to all enquiries and providing information such as figures and waiting time information.
  • Participate in the modernisation of systems and implement new ways of working, adhering to and changing systems in accordance with new and existing government and trust targets, policies and procedures.
  • Regular review of own systems and working practice and put forward proposalsfor changes to working practice and procedures
  • Responsible for the provision of an efficient and comprehensive booking service to patients, ensuring a high level of customer care and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
