The successful applicant will have

Current or pending HCPC registration

An interest in working in acute and community based setting

Excellent communication skills

Main duties of the job

Our aim is to provide a high quality, efficient service to maximise patients independence and function with the intention of facilitating safe, timely discharge and prevention of hospital admission. There will be an opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients many of whom have complex needs.

Our 6 monthly rotations currently cover the following areas of practice and you will be based in one of these areas

Acute Inpatients

Inpatient Orthopaedics

Stroke Unit

Intermediate Care LocalityTherapy

Community Occupational Therapy

Paediatrics

Some of the rotations involve a weekend day as part of our 7 day service provision, but all posts require flexibility to work extended hours (currently up to 6pm Monday - Friday) also weekends and bank holidays.

Modern well equipped facilities

Have at least one Senior member of staff within the specialty

Commitment to preceptorship, supervision, PDR, CPD and staff training
