37.5 hours per week.

6 month secondment.

An exciting opportunity as arose for a Nurse Team Manager to lead a 33 bedded medical ward that specialises in diabetes/endocrine and gastroenterology for a 6 month secondment.

Main duties of the job

The Nurse Team Manager role includes being responsible and accountable for the day to day management of the ward, demonstrating excellent leadership skills and an enthusiasm for staff and service development. The post holder will be required to demonstrate professional attributes, including, diversity, dealing with change, and be able to work autonomously and effectively within the multidisciplinary team.

We are for looking for an individual who is a dynamic, highly motivated and passionate nurse, committed to high quality patient care The post holder must have a flexible approach, have expertise in supporting the delivery of high standards of nursing care for patients within the acute medical pathway, and will be able to demonstrate excellent clinical leadership and communication skills across the multi-disciplinary team.
