An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the team on the Acute Surgical Unit.
The ideal candidates should have post registration experience ideally in a surgical environment, be motivated and enthusiastic, possess excellent communication skills, be a team player and wish to consolidate/develop their surgical skills as well as others skills.

Main duties of the job
The SURG SDEC (Surgical same day emergency care) / Acute Surgical Unit is a fast-paced unit that sees a variety of patients including direct admissions from the Urgent Emergency Care Centre (UECC) and GP referrals.
You need to have experience in prioritising your workload to include excellent staff management and first class patient care from admission through to timely and safe discharge planning.
