As the operational support manager you will assist the Operational Manager in the management and day to day operational activities of the Contact Centre including a team of administrative and clerical assistants as well as providing expert advice, guidance and support on various aspects of appointment scheduling including e-Referrals Service related Out-Patient activity.
Main duties of the job
1. Supervise and ensure the delivery of a high quality, efficient and effective service in the Contact Centre to agreed performance targets which supports operational service delivery to a defined group of CSUs.
2. Ensure service delivery to targets across a suite of functions relating to the management of e-referrals, clinic capacity and appointment scheduling and their underpinning work processes.
3. Monitor and review working procedures making recommendations for improvement and implementing agreed policies.
4. Day to day overseeing of EPR for the department.
5. Monitoring accuracy and timeliness of operational activity and instituting corrective action as necessary.
6. Carry out detailed risk assessments ensuring any corrective action identified takes place.
7. e-Referrals Service Lead Responsible for the day to day management of the national e-Referrals Service and local developments within the services.
