Main duties of the job

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in continually developing our healthcare services, ensuring that our digital solutions enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

If you are passionate about using digital technologies to shape the future of healthcare, we want you to join us in making a meaningful difference. The post will be responsible for the EPR function within Health Informatics which includes IT training, application configuration and identity and access management. The postholder will work closely with the Chief Clinical Information Officer and other Senior Leaders to focus on the delivery of the digital transformation programme.

Great candidates will have previous experience in delivery and co-ordination of multiple complex projects/programmes. Along with familiarity with the what good looks like framework, the Digital Maturity Assessment (DMA), HIMSS and KLAS.

  • Extensive expertise and experience in EPR Implementation and support, including requirements gathering, options appraisal and design, build, test, deploy cycle.
  • Working knowledge of NHS policies and national agendas especially around digitization and electronic patient records.
