Job summary

As a Medical Retinal Co-Ordinator you will be responsible for supporting the Medical Retina Service within the Ophthalmology Department. You will provide high quality administration and day to day co-ordination of the Medical Retina Team which consists of Nurse Injectors, Specialty Doctors and Consultants ensuring all Medical Retina patients are seen within the required timeframes.

Main duties of the job

This is a patient facing/admin role based within the Medical Retina Department. Applicants must have experience of working with a wide range of people, as part of a team and possess excellent verbal and written communication as well as IT skills. Knowledge of pathways and clinic build is required. Applicants must also be able to work well under pressure, have the ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and work on their own initiative.
