22.5 hours per week
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our Clinical Effectiveness Team. With the recent publication of the Trust Clinical Effectiveness Strategy (2024-2029), now is a really exciting time to get involved in strengthening the delivery and effectiveness of health & care to support our patients to live well for longer. Our Team work collaboratively with the Quality Improvement Faculty, Patient Safety, Patient Experience and front line Teams to implement evidence based practice and then to measure the impact on improving Patient care and outcomes.
As part of a small team, you will be particularly supporting the Clinical Audit Specialists in delivering on:
- High profile national audits as well as supporting directorates with local audit activity
- Co-ordinating evidence of the implementation of published NICE guidance

Main duties of the job
- Provide administrative support to the Clinical Effectiveness Team.
- Create and design audit tools.
- Collect, enter and validate audit data
- Produce basic analysis for audit projects.
- Monitor active audit projects, including the quality of the information inputted to the Clinical Audit Databases.
- Assist in the preparation and servicing of meetings, training and events.
- Provide advice to clinicians and other staff on the audit process.
- Assist with the general administration of National Clinical Outcome Review Programmes and National Clinical Audit Projects.
- Assist with the general administration of the implementation of the National Institute of Care and Excellence (NICE) Trust compliance process.
- The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate experience of data collection and input and producing reports. They will be able to demonstrate attention to detail, excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels verbally and in writing and well developed IT skills
