Job summary
We are looking to recruit a new Senior Clinical Fellow in Health Care of the Elderly (HCOP) someone who shares a passion for high quality patient care, growth and working with the team; who are keen to join us in our pursuit of clinical excellence and in delivering person-centred care for our patients.
The successful candidate will work across the HCOP Service, currently including 2.5 HCOP Wards, a Medically Fit Ward, a Frailty Service and Outliers; in addition to our Outpatient Service and Community Clinic. We can offer training and development opportunities and will support our SCF to enable them to provide a first class service. Main duties of the job

The role of Senior Clinical Fellow within the Acute Medicine and Diabetes and Endocrine services will comprise a job plan split across both specialties; including the key duties of attending formal ward rounds in AMU and D&E, and completing review of ward referrals as needed, and attending D&E Outpatient clinics as needed.

The post-holder will have responsibility for Health Care of Older People patients. We are looking for individuals who are keen and interested in delivering care for patients in the ever-changing and challenging environment of modern day healthcare and joining this team during this exciting time of change.
The post holder will support the embedding of new innovated ways and make the services at Rotherham more efficient for the patients and pathways.
The aim of these posts is to have integral links between departments to enable close, collaborative working.
On-call/Full Shift duties
This post will be working weekdays only from 9am to 5pm. There may a possibility of participating in out of hours working in the future.
