Job summary

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team, working in a busy, friendly environment. You must have a pleasant manner and be able to work as part of a team to assist in the delivery of a high quality decontamination service while maintaining the departments quality standards ISO 13485:2016 (UK MDR 2002)

Main duties of the job

The Supervisor will be responsible for all aspects of operational management of a designated shift within the Sterile Services Department, Endoscopy Decontamination Unit and Mattress Decontamination Service.

This will include; line managing all staff on their shift, liaising with all clinical users, responding to their day-to-day enquiries and requests, overseeing production inputs/outputs for quality, responding to all other matters that may arise throughout the course of their shift.

This job role involves manual handling of heavy goods.

The successful candidate will need to have demonstrable Sterile Services experience in a Sterile Services Technician Role and be able to demonstrate continued progression in a Decontamination Role.

The successful candidate should be working towards Healthcare Science Associate Level 4 qualification for completion within 3 years of commencing post
