Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MRI Radiographer (Full time and part time hours available) to join this well-established, friendly and hardworking team of Radiographers working in the MRI department at TRFT. We have recently installed a second Siemens Magnetom Sola MRI Scanner with a new larger MRI suite to expand/develop the services we can offer. The MRI department also provides services to Trauma, Orthopaedics, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, ENT, Vascular, General Medicine, Cardiology, Oncology, Breast, Neurology and Stroke Services. We actively support post graduate education in MRI and make every effort to support growth here at TRFT, looking at innovative ways to develop personally and professionally. Main duties of the job

We are seeking an enthusiastic, talented MRI Radiographer preferably with at least 2 years experience of a wide variety of examinations in MRI. This is flexible and a training post would be considered if the appropriate candidate was identified. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate good communication skills, professionalism and a flexible approach to working in order to deliver excellent patient care and provide an efficient service here at TRFT. The working day consists of a varied mix of inpatients and outpatients and excellent team work is vital in order to deliver this service. The MRI service runs an extended working day which is deployed over seven days in a rolling shift pattern. We currently operate Siemens Sola 1.5T and Avanto 1.5T. TRFT serve a local population of approximately 260,000. The Accident and Emergency Department deals with approximately 75,000 patients per year and there are approximately 55,000 inpatient and 250,000 outpatient attendances each year.
