Job summary

Permanent, 30 hours per week

The senior prescription coordinator manages the prescription coordinator team and phone lines from patients and professionals who phone for prescriptions for appliances catheters, sheaths, stoma and accessories.

The role can often involve liaising with dispensing appliance contractors and pharmacies to solve issues with stock for patients prescriptions. The role requires liaison with our team of nurses to ensure the highest quality of care for patients using the service.

Main duties of the job

Manage the team of prescription coordinators to ensure the smooth running of the service.

Liaise with pharmacies and dispensing appliance contractors to ensure patients receive the correct products.

Liaise with the team of continence and stoma nurses to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.

Ensure data protection is of paramount importance to all the team and process are followed.

Ensure all patients are treated with compassion and empathy
