THE ROTHERHAM NHS FOUNDATION TRUST Validation & Waiting List Co-ordinator DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SURGERY Fixed term contract 12 months- Maternity cover - End date 1st May 2026 BAND 4

Interview date - 26.02.2025 An exciting opportunity has arisen for Validation and waiting list Co-ordinator to work within the busy Department of General Surgery at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. You will need to have outstanding organisational and communication skills and be able to undertake a wide range of clerical duties and work well under pressure and to set deadlines. To manage and administer the patient waiting lists for General Surgery, liaising with staff throughout the Trust and working well within a team. Main duties of the job

Support the provision of high quality and timely patient care through the management of elective resources.Validate and produce data reports detailing an accurate 18 week position for the Division.Assist the Service Managers in ensuring patient pathways are compliant with the RTT targets, investigating and taking appropriate action where pathways are incomplete.Liaise with Service Support Manager to ensure transparency of workload position thus contributing to continuity of service.
