We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to provide
clinical leadership for the musculoskeletal and orthopaedic therapy services.

In return the successful candidate will be part of a supportive clinical
leadership team, receive regular supervision and have opportunities to develop
further as a leader.
The ability to work in partnership with GPs, Consultants, and Commissioners,
referring hospitals, community rehabilitation services and voluntary agencies
is essential.
The post-holder will also be expected to undertake a small number of
MSK/Orthopaedic clinical sessions.
Main duties of the job
- To provide clinical expertise, leadership and manage
performance in relevant service area according to KPIs and quality standards.
- To managed a delegated budget of over £2,000,000
- To deliver services in order to meet the Trust objectives.
- To manage a specialist caseload of clients, using
evidence-based and client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and
evaluate interventions.
- To lead on the planning, implementation, development and
evaluation of Services in MSK & Orthopaedics
- To line manage the Deputy Service Manager
- To contribute to the development of integrated
rehabilitation pathways for relevant services across Primary, Intermediate and
Secondary Care and the third sector.
- To ensure that regular supervision and appraisal of staff
within team is undertaken.
- To provide interventions in locations across the health
community covered by The Rotherham NHS foundation Trust as required.
