Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse to join the team on the Acute Surgical Unit/ Surgical SDEC. The ideal candidates should have NHS post registration experience with an interest in surgery, be motivated, enthusiastic, possess excellent communication skills, be a team player and wish to consolidate/develop their surgical skills as well as others skills. We offer team rostering on ASU to support your work life balance.

Main duties of the job

The SURG SDEC (Surgical same day emergency care) / Acute Surgical Unit is a fast-paced unit that sees a variety of patients including direct admissions from the Urgent Emergency Care Centre (UECC) and GP referrals. You need to have experience in prioritising your workload to support the delivery of first class patient care from admission through to timely and safe discharge planning.If you enjoy working in a fast paced environment and pride yourself on ensuring patients have the best experience then this is the job for you.
