This is an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning Health Informatics department and support our new Digital Strategy PROUDTOBEDIGITAL. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and driven individual to join our 2nd line IT Support team on a permanent basis.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of a busy Health Informatics IT support 2nd Line team, your primary focus is to provide a high quality IT support function to Rotherham Hospital & other areas within our support service. Managing a support queue and responding to incidents and service requests efficiently and effectively, prioritising those which affect patient care.You will have experience of working in a busy IT environment which may require working in patient facing areas.

You will need to demonstrate excellent customer service and skills including

PC hardware / software support & telephony Windows operating systems Microsoft applications

You should hold a formal IT qualification or relevant experience.

  • Educated to HND (or equivalent) in a relevant technical subject
  • Customer Services qualification or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of continued professional development (CPD)

Desirable

  • Degree or equivalent occupational / professional qualification or experience
