Job summary
This is a new and exciting part time role working within Physiotherapy admin team, supporting the Admin Team Leader, Operational Support Manager and the Clinical Team Leaders. The role will suit and experienced SystmOne administrator. This role is providing support to MSK, Orthopaedic, amputee rehab is amongst the service that you would be supporting the role is varied as will have contact with service users, internal and external providers and will also be support to the current admin team and mentor new starters. The right candidate will have good attention to detail, excellent commutator, and work well under pressure.
Main duties of the job
A key focus of the role is to ensure the referral process, appointing and caseload management to ensure they meet the service specific KPIs To Provide a comprehensive administration and clerical support including reception cover to identified specialities within the Therapy services including, Orthopaedic / MSK / Amputees Rehab and other Allied Professionals within the Therapies and Dietetics Division. To support the Admin Team Leader with diary management, data validation This will include dealing with queries from patients, service users, relatives, carers and management of electronic patient records (Meditech, SystmOne, ERS). This also includes liaising with GP surgeries, consultants and other members of staff to ensure patients referrals are processed appropriately as part of the referral management process, for the service delivery. Additional duties include call handling, general admin tasks and when required covering a busy reception Ability to communicate well with patients and staff of all grades and disciplines, as well as distributing workload to other members of staff to help manage the workload when appropriate. Attention to detail in all aspects of work Communicate with people in an appropriate manner to ensure level of understanding incorporates preferred ways of communicating, culture and background
