Job summary

22.5 Hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join the multi-disciplinary team at the Child Development Centre Rotherham for a fixed one year post. The funding has been achieved to help the current waiting list and backlog. The role involves working with the team to provide Speech and Language Therapy support to Children and their families aged 0-5 attending the CDC for an assessment and a potential diagnosis. The Children attending are not achieving their developmental milestones and may exhibit delay or differences in their developmental profile. As a service we offer Families a workshop and individual support through a review and demand process. As a Newly Qualified Therapist you will be supported in the role by the Specialist Speech and Language Therapy team. You will work alongside a wide range of disciplines and have the opportunity to develop your skills working with early years children with additional needs.

Main duties of the job

You will be based at Kimberworth Place which is 5 minutes drive from Meadowhall. We are a friendly supportive team and based in an office with a wide range of Therapy teams.
