We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our Stroke Therapy Team. We are a compassionate team and provide high-quality person-centred rehabilitation to stroke survivors in Rotherham.

We deliver this care in a consistent and organised way to maximize the potential of the service-users we support. We are efficient and accountable, and communicate effectively with each other and our clients.

We always put the stroke survivor, their carers and the people we work with, at the centre of every decision we make. We provide a pathway of integrated care across the Stroke Recovery Unit (acute and rehab) and the Integrated Community Stroke Service (early supported discharge and community stroke rehab up to 6 months). We are the only therapy team across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw to work in this innovative and dynamic way.

Our pathway provides a seamless transfer of care for stroke survivors and their carers. Hyper-acute stroke care is delivered locally in Sheffield and Doncaster. This provides the opportunity to work closely with our partner organisations across our integrated care system.

Our MDT includes SLTs, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, Assistant Practitioners, Therapy Support and admin staff. This skill mix enables us to offer holistic and bespoke rehabilitation.
