At this exciting time in our development, we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Assistant Technical Officer to join our dynamic Dispensary Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Dispensary and Stores environment helping to deliver an efficient service by working as part of a fantastic team to reach set targets. The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated, work effectively as part of a team, be enthusiastic and have excellent organisational and communication skills. The candidate will also share our vision to deliver high quality, evidence-based and cost-effective services for patients.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed person who is keen to build and develop their knowledge and skills within the Pharmacy setting. Working as part of the Dispensary Team, the successful candidate will be expected to undertake and complete an NVQ Level 2 (if not already achieved) whilst working full time within the Dispensary and Stores areas of the Pharmacy Department. Main daily duties will include the labelling and assembly of medications, working on Reception, general housekeeping duties and receiving in stock deliveries. This is a full time position, working 37.5 hours a week, including late nights, weekend and bank holiday commitments on a rota basis.
