The Rotherham NHS Foundation is seeking a skilled Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our dynamic Operational Estates team. We're committed to providing exceptional care, and you'll play a vital role in maintaining our facilities.
As a shift engineer, you'll be at the heart of our operations, delivering essential planned and reactive maintenance across the hospital site.
You will work a rotating shift pattern that covers a four-week period
Main duties of the job
In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and improving our facilities by troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of complex systems. Your expertise in building controls, electrical/ mechanical systems, and HVAC will be essential as you optimise performance and ensure a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair complex faults across various building services engineering applications.
Prioritise tasks effectively to maximise system performance.
Continuously develop your skills in building controls and building services at the Trust.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong technical skills in Building Services Engineering.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
A proactive and solutions-oriented mind-set.
Note: While experience in the NHS is beneficial, it is not essential. We welcome applications from motivated individuals with a strong technical background
