15 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Division of Medicine Admin Team as a Support Typist. This role would be ideal for anyone who is looking to expand upon their existing administrative/clerical experience, and to develop new skills in a busy, but supportive, department. The role will be based on the main hospital site.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, flexible and excellent at communicating with patients and staff at all levels.

Main duties of the job

You will be required to maintain a high standard of administrative support to the Consultant team ensuring that robust systems are in place for the efficient end to end patient pathway. Ensure that digital transcriptions are managed timely in accordance with Trust expectation. Provide proactive waiting list coordination to ensure patients are booked in line with clinical priority and national/local waiting times and to support the best use of capacity for patient pathway.
