Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to join the Trust Secretariat team as a Personal Assistant to the Trust Chair and Director of Corporate Affairs, this is a varied and interesting role, you will need to be self-motivated with a professional and positive attitude at all times.
The Personal Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the Trust Chair and Director of Corporate Affairs by providing high quality, confidential and efficient support as and when required. Organising and planning daily schedules, dealing with sensitive and confidential information appropriately and utilising diplomacy at all times.
It is essential that you can manage your own workload, planning and prioritising various demands whilst still meeting deadlines. The successful post holder will need to develop exceptional relationships both internally and externally as they will be the first point of contact for key stakeholders, patients and families.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will possess; excellent communication skills to ensure a positive impression of the business of the trust, be highly organised and efficient, hold good analytical skills, be a problem solver and be able to use their initiative to manage conflicting priorities. They will support the diary management of the Board Directors, formatting of reports, presentations, briefing reports and other correspondences. The post holder will assist the Board Directors in efficient workload management, arrange meetings, prepare minutes and agendas, they will maintain electronic filing systems and various other administrative duties as required.
