Job summary
This is an exciting and varied role, working across the Trust to ensure that the medical and dental workforce is adequate to deliver the service. The post holder will be responsible for leadership and support of the M&D Centralised Rota Management Team. As an integral part of the wider Medical Workforce team, this role deputises for the Head of Medical & Dental Workforce in matters relating to medical and dental locums and the agency framework.
Main duties of the job
Liaison at all levels regarding medical workforce staffing, ensuring patient and employee safety is paramount in decisions made.To support the process of rota design and to provide advice and guidance to divisional colleagues in line with contractual requirements.To escalate employment/contractual issues where required, including issues relating to capability, patient safety, and line management.The promotion and management of Direct Engagement (DE) for M&D locums across the Trust, actively supporting divisions with reduction in locum usage and spend.
