Main duties of the job

As the Marketing & Communications Officer at Rotherham Hospital & Community Charity, your pivotal role centres on steering our dynamic growth and shaping the charitys influential presence in the region. Responsible for developing and executing innovative marketing strategies, you will elevate visibility and support from an expanding audience. In the digital realm, youll manage and expand our online presence strategically, curating compelling content on social media platforms to foster connections with diverse stakeholders and contribute to growth. Effective communication is key; crafting persuasive materials ensures a consistent, impactful messaging approach that authentically reflects out evolving mission, resonating with our expanding audience. Contributing to the evolution of our brand identity, youll create visually appealing materials that communicate our core message and values. Beyond the charity team, youll foster collaboration with Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust teams, external partners, and stakeholders, championing cross-functional efforts to achieve organisational goals and maximise collective impact. Monitoring and analysing marketing metrics, your reports on key performance indicators inform data-driven decision-making, ensuring continuous improvement and adaption. Embracing innovation and staying abreast of industry trends are crucial for success in this dynamic environment, contributing to the ongoing excitement surrounding the Charitys journey.

  • Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management
  • Ability to analyse data and generate insights for continuous improvement

  • Knowledge of and skills in social media management, with a focus on increasing reach and engagement

  • Experience of designing, developing and producing compelling multi-media content
  • Experience of working with websites and managing content
  • Experience of following brand guidelines and producing high quality branded content
  • Experience of using email marketing tools, such as Mailchimp
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience of writing a charity marketing strategy, or evidence to prove the ability to so this.
