Job summary
Rotherham Hospitals dedicated 12 Bedded Haematology In-Patient Ward is looking to expand and strengthen its nursing team.
We currently deliver Level 2 Haematology Service to the residents of Rotherham and the surrounding area. Also Supporting a diverse group of patients with both malignant and non-malignant haematological disorders. Our purpose built ward currently comprises of 6 Cubicles with full on suite facilities alongside one 6 bedded bay. Haematology Nursing offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your clinical skills and practise
Demonstrable registration experience with Haematology background is essential, applicants should have an interest in developing their career further within the Speciality of Haematology.

Main duties of the job
As a Clinical Sister/Charge Nurse you will be responsible for managing and supporting the nursing team on ward A7 in ensuring that our patients and family members needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care whilst also supporting the Ward Manager. We pride ourselves on the delivery of a high standard of care one where you will be able to offer a person-centred approach maintaining independence and the well-being of our patients, whilst supporting them through their cancer journey.
