Job summary
The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust has a vacancy for a Recruitment Administrator/s. We have the possibility of full time or job share hours available.

You will need to be friendly, have a great telephone manner, be committed to providing fantastic customer service and be IT literate. You need to be comfortable working in a very busy, fast-paced environment and dealing with competing demands. You will need to have the ability to multi-task, organise and prioritise a frequently interrupted workload, embracing the challenge of working in a demanding and busy environment.
The role involves being a dedicated key contact at the start of the candidates journey taking them through the all the NHS pre-employment checks stage.
As a team we support one another to focus on finding solutions to some of the challenges we face and ensure that our work is of a high standard. Your role is key to the success of the team and you need to be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Currently the Recruitment Team is working remotely at home, but all equipment will be provided. This is constantly being reviewed.
Previous experience in recruitment is desirable, but not essential. Full training on our ways of working and our IT systems will be given to the successful candidate.
Main duties of the job
The role is an integral role within the recruitment team.
The role has full responsibility for processing and managing all the recruitment offers for the non-medical recruitment campaigns. These includes making sure all the pre-employment checks are completed in a timely manner and covered within the NHS Employers guidance / recruitment best practice. The pre-employment checks required are, references covering a candidates full three year employment record, DBS checks, occupational health checks, right to work documents, ID documentation and face to face ID checks.
You will work closely with both candidates, Recruiting Managers and Recruitment Officers. You will frequently be the first point of contact for candidates and recruiting managers which will require both face-to-face and over the phone contact.
You must have a high standard of attention to detail because the role does involve quite a bit of data inputting either on our in house Electronic Staff Records system or internal reports and the NHS Jobs system.
Along with other team members the role involves participate and sometimes administrative support in the co-ordination of recruitment events.
