Job summary

Working as part of a busy Health Informatics IT 2nd Line team, your primary focus is to provide a high quality IT support function to Rotherham Hospital and the various community sites that we support. Working hard to deliver against key performance indicators and targets set out in Service Level Agreements. Managing a support queue and responding to incidents and service requests efficiently and effectively, prioritising those which affect patient care.

Main duties of the job

You will have experience of working in a large-scale busy IT environment. You may be required to work in clinical, patient facing areas replacing, upgrading and installing IT devices. You will also need to demonstrate excellent customer facing and sound technical skills in relation to ; Desktop / laptop hardware & software support Windows operating systems support Microsoft applications support. You should hold a formal IT qualification and / or relevant experience.
