Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to come and work within our busy Phlebotomy team at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who enjoys working as part of a team and also has the confidence to work independently. Main duties of the job
We are a supportive service, ensuring all patients who require a blood test are cared for by highly skilled Phlebotomists. To be an effective member of the phlebotomy team, you will be expected to maintain a high standard of clinical practice when obtaining venous samples from patients. The job role is fast paced and requires the ability to cover up to 8000 steps to ensure all patients receive the service required. You will become an integral part of the phlebotomy team, ensuring patient safety and teaching phlebotomy skills to students as part of your day to day practice. Your voice matters to us and we will listen to any service improvement ideas you may have to ensure we are delivering the best possible service.
