An exciting opportunity has arisen within Cancer Services for a MDT Coordinator & Tracking Team Lead to work 37.5 hours over 5 days (Monday Friday). We are looking for a dynamic individual who is well organised and has the ability to adapt to an ever changing environment.Within this role you would be expected to take on the responsibility of the day to day line management of the Cancer MDT Coordinators and Trackers and help to develop SOPs and training guides for each tumour site. You will be responsible for the delivery of training and implementation of any changes within the current and wider teams. When required you will need to deputise for the Cancer Manager.To be shortlisted applicants should be able to demonstrate on their application how they meet the essential knowledge and experience set out in the person specification.

Main duties of the job

Responsible for ensuring systems and processes are in place to meet the local and nationaltargets. CWT (Cancer Waiting Times) data and targets, COSD (Cancer Outcomes and ServicesDataset) and National and local audits.Support projects in the development and implementation of the service and facilitating the change process whilst encouraging others.Responsible for the day to day line management of team of MDT Coordinators & Cancer Trackers.Responsible for Co-ordinating and maintaining the training programme for new and existing staff as well as supporting the education of staff in other areas of the Trust as required.Work with key stakeholders to maintain and develop effective patient pathways in line withTrust and National requirements and development.
