Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking
mammographer to cover maternity leave here at Rotherham NHS Foundation trust.
We are a static site providing breast screening and symptomatic services to the
Rotherham district.
The candidate should be a team player who is supportive, reliable and
trustworthy.
We are looking for someone who is professional, empathetic and courteous
who remains calm and focused in challenging situations. The successful
candidate should be someone who is committed to producing high quality
mammographic images.
The successful candidate will be HCPC registered,
with a BSc or Diploma in Radiography and post graduate award in breast imaging
is essential.
Main duties of the job
The main
duty of this role is to produce high quality mammogram images. You will be involved in both breast screening assessment and symptomatic
work. You will be expected to carry
out all breast radiographic examinations as required to a high standard,
observing clinical protocols. You will be involved in daily QA checks of the
equipment and the daily running of the breast screening and symptomatic
service. Imaging is undertaken on 3 Hologic mammography units.
