A unique and exciting opportunity has arisen
for the post of Deputy Professional lead for Medical Imaging, Physics and
Illustration at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.
We would like to
invite applications from suitable individuals who are proactive, enthusiastic,
self motivated experienced leaders and managers, to assist in leading the
Medical imaging, Physics and Illustration Clinical support unit into the
future. In addition to this applicants should be qualified as a diagnostic
Radiographer and have Current HCPC registration, project management and service
development experience would be advantageous. The applicants should be service
focused, eager to develop and expand the existing and new services and have an aptitude for service change.
The post holder will be accountable for their own actions and will work closely
with the Professional lead for Medical Imaging the divisional senior management
team and the individual imaging leads. The ideal applicant needs to show a keen
interest in the future of their profession and their role within diagnostic
imaging service and to continue to support, maintain and develop the highest standards
across the whole of the Medical imaging.
Main duties of the job
This role is to support the Professional lead for medical imaging,
physics and illustration in the operational and strategic planning of the
medical imaging, physics and illustration clinical support unit.
The role requires enthusiasm about imaging and diagnostics and have the
drive to push the medical imaging department forward. Implementing change and
working towards the trusts vision and operational plan.
