Job summary
22.5 hours/week working Mon-Fri 4pm-8.30pm (subject to change)
An opportunity has arisen for a Clerical Officer to join the administration team in Acute Medicine.
This is a demanding role which requires a high level of accuracy and the ability to keep calm under pressure, ensuring patient information and movement is captured in real time alongside other administrative duties.
Excellent communication skills are a must, as well as a positive attitude and a strongly held commitment to high standards of service delivery in order for our patients to have the best possible experience.
The successful candidate must be able to work a variable rota which will include days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
Please note: This role is based in a clinical area.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive reception service and administrative support across the Acute Medicine footprint. This includes the Acute Medical Unit (AMU), Short Stay Unit (SSU) and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC).
