Are you an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual who has the passion and innovation to drive forward digital technology in the 0-19 Service. Working alongside the Health Improvement Team you will have the autonomy to design and develop digital services in line with current evidence-based practice. You will be responsible for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and live chat functions.

You will have knowledge and experience of working with children and young people in the community and have knowledge of safeguarding procedures.

You will have excellent communication and team working skills and be able contribute to team goals and trust values. Being competent in the use of information technology is required for this post and be able to use word processing, spread sheets, email and Internet use. You should be able to show evidence of recent professional development and training.

Main duties of the job

  • To provide a consistent, effective, digital Service for children and young people and their families
  • Involvement in the development of policies, procedures and guidelines specifically relating to the digital agenda
  • To work in partnership with the Matron, Team Leaders and 0-19 Practitioners regarding content of digital channels owned by the 0-19 service
  • To work in partnership with the communications team at TRFT in relation to the 0-19 content of the Trust website.
  • To work in partnership with the communications team at RMBC regarding sharing place based digital content
  • To work in partnership with the ICB regarding the content of websites to ensure these correlate and are sharing up to date information
  • To manage any digital technologies/apps as required.
  • To adhere to TRFT policies for safeguarding children.
  • To be accountable for own practice and professional development
  • To represent The Rotherham Foundation Trust both locally and nationally.
  • To communicate effectively ensuring cascading of relevant information up and down The Rotherham Foundation Trust organisational structure including 0-19 locality teams
  • To work flexibly to provide cover for absent colleagues when required.
  • To share knowledge across the wider CYPS workforce
