Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust has an exciting and challenging role within the Theatre Stores Department based at City Hospital. We require an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our dynamic and lively department who are committed to providing an excellent logistic service to the City Theatres.
A good level of concentration is required and you need to be physically fit as there is constant booking in of stock, putting stock away and picking of stock throughout the day. You will need to be enthusiastic, committed and adaptable to change.
A positive image of Supplies at NUH Trust should be demonstrated at all times while showing a commitment to support the Trust values and behaviours.
Main duties of the job
In addition to the brief list above you must familiarise yourself with the full job description and person specification attached to this advert prior to applying.As an integral part of the team you will be required to use the Stores IT system (currently Ingenica) on a daily basis, scanning consumables for both issue and receipt. You will also have responsibilities for receiving deliveries from suppliers, checking such deliveries and replenishing the Stores with the delivered stock. Assisting with audits and rolling stock counts within the stores areas.The successful candidate must have a flexible approach as there will be a requirement to be able to learn and cross cover other stores teams

The post holder will also be responsible for receipt and checking of deliveries, placing stock in correct the location and picking consumables for the theatres on a daily and ad-hoc basis as required.
The post holder will be trained in all aspects of their duties and will be expected to carry out their duties adhering to all trust policies and procedures.
