Job summary
Work as a member of the team providing a high standard of care to patients and their carers.
Deliver high quality holistic care to patients with the indirect supervision of a registered nurse.
Deliver efficient and effective care and communication between multidisciplinary team the patient, relatives and carers.
Main duties of the job
Participate in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients. Act as the patient's advocate ensuring that their best interests are met.
To carry out basic nursing care of the patient and their daily activities and promote patient safety, comfort, privacy, dignity and confidentiality, reporting any change in condition to the nurse in charge.
Use initiative in planning daily and weekly routines.
Carry out the role without the need for constant supervision and directly recognising limitations and seeking supervision when necessary.

Knowledge and Experience

- Previous experience in Haemodialysis

- Experience of working in an acute hospital setting
- Experience in Renal setting
