Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Urology Nurse or a qualified Urology Nurse practitioner to join our Service as a Clinical Nurse Specialist!
There has never been a more exciting time to join the Urology Speciality here at NUH: we provide a Urology pathway to the whole of Nottinghamshire and work closely with our community and health partners including Sherwood Forest NHS Foundation Trust. Recently NUH was awarded the contract for the Nottingham Treatment Centre, based at our QMC campus and we are further developing our Urology service and require a motivated and experienced Nurse practitioner.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be an experienced practitioner, acting within their professional boundaries.
You will ultimately use your knowledge and skills to provide expert, efficient and safe patient care whilst under supervision of a mentor. You will demonstrate clinical judgement and critical decision-making skills based upon evidence based practice, and you will learn and develop form working collaboratively with consultants, Specialist Nurses and the wider multi-disciplinary team in order to meet the urgent care needs of patients. Working and learning from experienced consultants and practitioners as part of your work routine will provide a constant, supportive learning curve.
You will be mainly based at City Campus but you may be required to work at the Treatment Centre on occasions as part of your role.
