This is an exciting opportunity for a clinical support worker to join a diverse and motivated team that are dedicated to the development of skills and the delivery of high quality safe care.
As a caring and positive person you will need to be able to work as part of an established team, have the ability to work flexibly.
Applicants should have experienceof working in an acute hospital trust and have completed relevant role related development packages.
Main duties of the job
Main duties of the job
Competent in venepuncture, cannulation and central line care
Competent in performing ECG's
Be able to prioritise work load
Be a good team player
Assist meeting the comfort and hygiene needs of patients.
Assist with taking and recording patients observations.
Report to registered staff all concerns about patients conditions.
Use initiative in planning daily and weekly routines.
Promote a professional, welcoming and uncluttered environment, keeping all areas safe, clean and tidy.
Assist in unpacking, checking and storing supplies delivered to the area, reporting when stocks are low.
Prepare beds, trolleys and equipment
