Job summary

Following the promotion of the existing post holder there is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Staffing professional to join the friendly and dynamic Medical Workforce team at NUH.

The focus of this role is the management and operational running of our Medical Trust Grade Programme. This includes recruitment, induction, rotation and ongoing pastoral support for around 200 locally appointed doctors, most of whom are International Medical graduates.

This role is high profile, fast paced and people focused, the successful candidate will need great people skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and attention to detail.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate would be expected to work closely with colleagues in the wider People Directorate, the Post Graduate Medical Education department, Finance and divisional teams.

The Trust Grade programme is designed to minimise premium spend and to ensure safe levels of resident doctor staffing across the trust. The successful candidate will need to continually monitor Trust Grade numbers against our resident doctor establishment to ensure an ongoing match.
