Job summary

We are looking for a new member of our team on E17, as a ward housekeeper. The post holder will be required to assist with housekeeping duties, including dealing with stores, equipment, general stocking up, delivery and collection of urgent requests.

A vacancy has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Housekeeper to join the team on E17. The 10 bedded unit provides a service caring for peadtric renal and urology patients, encompassing a variety of conditions. This is a challenging busy environment incorporating a supportive multi-professional team.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.

It is essential that you have experience of working in the health care environment and interacting with the general public.

You will be responsible for providing a clean and safe environment for patients and staff. Your role will involve managing supplies, equipment and general stock. You will be expected to help keep the ward clean, tidy and well stocked. You will be expected to organise your own workload whilst under supervision from the nursing team.
