Job summary
This appointment is for a 6 (extendable to 12) months whole time Lymphoma/CAR-T Fellow. This clinical fellowship appointment will provide training in Haematology, with a focus on lymphoma and CAR-T cell therapy. The post involves in-patient and out-patient work, and includes opportunities for engagement in QiP/audits. Clinical and educational supervision will be provided by the Consultants of the lymphoma team.
Main duties of the job
The trust-grade lymphoma Fellow will be junior non-Consultant member of the lymphoma team at City Campus, NUH, and will benefit from extensive and focused training in haematology, focused on lymphoid malignancies and advanced therapies including CAR T. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with the medical and non-medical teams affiliated with the delivery of lymphoma and CAR-T cell therapy in the inpatient and outpatient setting. There is no formal 'on call' commitment associated with the post. The salary will be commensurate with IMT1 trainee, according to experience and/or level of training.
The candidates will have to demonstrate specific experience in Haematology for >12 months and will be required to have passed at least MRCP Part I exam. MRCP Part II and PACES exam are desirable. Candidates will be required to have full GMC registration at the time of appointment.
