Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent full time band 3 Service Administrator within Clinical Neurophysiology at Queen's Medical Centre Campus.
The post holder will be a key member of the small administrative team supporting the Neurophysiology service to deliver outstanding neurological diagnostic and monitoring procedures to patients from across Nottinghamshire and the wider region. The post holder will take responsibility for managing outpatient waiting lists along with the Senior Leadership Team, working on the department appointment booking line, ensuring inpatient referrals are triaged and managed by the appropriate staff, meeting and greeting patients and dealing with enquiries from wards, external referrers, other medical professionals and members of the public. The role also includes typing and uploading of clinical reports to information systems, filing, scanning and dealing with emails to the departments inboxes.
Close liaison with the department clinical staff and other administrative teams will be necessary in order to provide a prompt and quality patient focused service.
